- Cover with spine title for original manuscript "Benti-voglioe mano-scritto originale 1615." Seventeenth century lute tablature probably of Milanese origin used by a professional lutist was written in three different hands. The six-line staff of the Italian lute tablature represents the six courses of the lute, the high strings at the bottom of the staff and the lower ones at the top. Dances include the "Ruggerio" or "Aria della girometta." Many pieces are common tunes popular in many countries under different titles.
